AI-First Agile Delivery Management
Plan, deliver, and run AI products and services with confidence.
AI is changing what leaders are expected to know. The models are probabilistic, the data does the heavy lifting, and the failure modes are new. Planning, funding, and governing AI work all behave differently when the product is a model rather than code.
AI-First Agile Delivery Management is a two-day, hands-on course for the people who sponsor, fund, staff, and answer for AI projects, no technical background required. It is built
around the AI-First Agile Delivery Canvas: a single page that maps the thirteen decisions an AI project has to get right, from value proposition through delivery to governance. Each session teaches one cell of the canvas, then the room fills that cell in for a real project. You
leave with a completed canvas, a working delivery plan for your own AI product.
In this course, you will learn how to:
- Make the case for AI, or against it
Pin down the problem, the users, and the outcomes, and decide whether AI is the
right answer at all. - Choose a model approach and the data strategy it demands
Pretrained, retrieval, fine-tuning, or training from scratch: run the triage, then plan the sourcing, labelling, and cleaning the choice commits you to. - Run agile delivery for AI work
Adapt the ceremonies for probabilistic products, plan under uncertainty, and put
MLOps and ModelOps in place so models keep working after launch. - Navigate AI risks and responsibilities
Safe data collection, security, sustainability, governance and ethics, and AI FinOps: the questions a leader must answer before an AI product goes live. - Lead teams through the change
Build AI literacy and buy-in, support new ways of working, and judge how far to trust AI automation, with the right human oversight.

The Instructors
Simon Edwards
Author of Think, Do, Show. Founder of Radical IT. Co-creator of ICAgile's AI-First Agile Delivery Management course.
Simon Edwards is the founder of Radical IT and the co-creator of the ICAgile-certified AI-First Agile Delivery Management course, which reframes delivery management for a world where AI automates the status reports and risk logs and rewards teams that master adaptive delivery and flow.
With more than 20 years delivering complex digital transformation change across major financial institutions and global investment banks, Simon has also led major UK Government projects including nuclear weapon emergency and classified projects for MI5. The frameworks he teaches are drawn directly from that frontline delivery experience.
James Grogan
Software developer at Radical IT specializing in AI solutions. Co-creator of ICAgile's AI-First Agile Delivery Management course.
James Grogan is a software developer at Radical IT specialising in AI solutions, and co-creator of the ICAgile-certified AI-First Agile Delivery Management course. He specializes in AI integration engineering and AI workflow optimization: the practical work of getting models out of experiments and into systems people rely on.
Over five years as a developer he has delivered software across the built environment and building engineering sectors, and on UK public sector projects for Border Force and the Home Office. The technical backbone of this course, from model approach and data strategy through MLOps, ModelOps, and security, is drawn from that hands-on engineering experience.
